Acupuncture
Both a science and an art, Acupuncture is a form of medicine that has been practiced for more than 2,500 years. My intention is to redirect your bodies natural energies, our Qi, away from pain and disease and toward a state of homeostasis. Through a complex series of interactions, our body learns to regulate its energy flow in response to the needles, resolving the root cause and thus eliminating symptoms.

Movement
Movement and the body are two of my biggest obsessions in life. We all have a body and it’s up to us to develop a deeper relationship with it.
I’ve found many disconnects in the fitness approach to physical training over the years, and so I founded Poetic Discipline. Think of it like a movement school — a space where curious students come together to craft a new perspective and new existence through the art of physical practice. We are all highly capable movers, we have just unlearned this somewhere along the way.
Come and move with us :)

What people are saying.
“I have had an amazing experience with Chris King. I could not walk nor lift my left foot when I was referred to Chris. After just several sessions, my pereaneal nerve dysfunction and blockage were significantly improved and after several more treatments, the problem was 90% improved. Shortly thereafter it was completely alleviated . I recommend him without reservation.”
— Anne P., 59, Real Estate Broker
“Chris helped unlock my body. He’s helped me heal both of my achilles and strengthen through movement and tailored exercises. He’s once helped me back after breaking my hand in multiple spots—4 months later, I can fully load my hand in a wall assisted handstand. I have a new relationship and respect for myself through the tools he’s shared with me.”
— Matt K., 34, Artist, Creative Director & Business owner
“Chris’ holistic approach to healing coupled with his ability to utilize multiple disciplines differentiates him from any therapist I’ve worked with before. I had been dealing with a number of different chronic issues, inhibiting my ability to perform optimally. Chris developed a program of combining Acupuncture, cupping and massage to methodically address all of them. Chris also provides me with advice on active stretching & strength training to help prevent their reoccurrence.”
